That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
1 Thessalonian 2:12
3 o'clock p.m. of January 9, 2014 (yesterday) was a busy time for us (Mike and Luisa). We were again still able to distribute our remaining tracts to more or less 450 people, most of them children from San Agustin Elementary School of Barangay San Agustin, Tandag City. This was our first formal school tract distribution in Tandag City since we have transferred residence last October 27, 2013 (we were still in Cantilan when we distributed tracts in Surigao del Sur State University, Tandag City). Mrs. Maybelle A. Pama, a school teacher of San Agustin Elementary School, our friend and co-member of the Bible Baptist Church in Tandag City, assisted us very well in the distribution of the tracts.
Prior to this, we were able to distribute tracts of more than 2,000 in Madrid District Schools last October 31, 2012 when a general meeting of teachers all over Madrid District was called for by their District Supervisor, Mrs. Rosalinda E. Urbiztondo. This was the day after we received a package from U.S.A. containing 10,000 free tracts sent by Chick Publication. Unfortunately, the picture coverage is not yet uploaded by her clerk until now because of failing internet signals due to bad weather (our camera was not available that time).
Last December 10, 2013, we were blessed to distribute tracts in two schools (high school and university) of San Miguel, a town half-hour private-car drive from Tandag City. San Miguel National High School was located within the town vicinity (we distributed more than 500 tracts), but Surigao del Sur State University (SDSSU), San Miguel Campus was situated in the mountainous area of San Miguel in the last barangay of Caromata. It was a very far place with winding, muddy road along mountains and hills that took us more than an hour to travel. Those parts of San Miguel were known to be rebels' den. Yet, we know God was with us and we were at peace.
Our group consisted of Pastor Eduardo "Ed" Gamboa, who drove the car, five bible students and us (Mike and Luisa). We all did not expect the difficult trip, but we were amazed to see the location of the university situated at top of a mountain. Awesome. It was really a school conducive to learning. The environment made us appreciate God's creation, beautiful to behold and such peace contrary to stories of disputes. We were able to distribute less than 300 tracts. Furthermore, Pastor was able to conduct bible sharing. We all prayed the students who were listening that time and were able to say the salvation prayer were truly saved. Our camera that time was on low battery, though Pastor Ed was able to take pictures from his ipad which until now needs to be uploaded. We hope to have them anytime soon for you to see.
Aside from these, we also give tracts on an almost daily basis when we have time to go to downtown Tandag. Some members of the church also give tracts, which is good news for us. For now, we are waiting for the next big schedules of tract distribution to different schools and offices when the additional tracts of 20,000 will arrive from Chick Publication. We have less than 1,000 left. It is really not enough for 56,000+ population of Tandag City alone.
Please pray with us that we would be used by God more as vessels in His vineyard.
To Him the all glory!

Hi, friend!
Thank you very much for dropping by.
Today, when you decide to read our blog, you share with us the desire to please God by expressing what He had done amazingly in our lives. Your written comments, appreciations and, most of all, encouragements will aspire us more to be used by Him in the tracts distribution and mission works. The field is great and the work is still many. We truly hope that as you read our experiences, you will also be inspired to heed His call.
All of these are for the glory of God! Be blessed.
